Got this hotel on priceline and was quite disappointed. Rooms are tiny! I requested a change after walking in the first room, because it was shockingly small and the room had an overpowering smell of CarpetFresh or something like that. I assumed somebody had been smoking. The next room was just as bad. One queen bed and with a rollaway... More

After check in the lovely girl at the front desk , I think her name was "Lila" approached us in the parking lot and offered to update our room to a King with a peek ocean view! I was over the moon to receive this upgrade to say the least.. The room was on the small side but worked fine... More

A huge relief!! I visit Santa Barbara every September for pleasure and I needed to stay longer then expected. I came across the Coast Village Inn while looking for a new accommodation & to my pleasure it was all I could ask for! It had a small quaint office with a more then welcoming staff that took the time to... More

I am a tall man 6'3"; my legs touched the wall when I sat on the toilet. Place is VERY old and the shower stall is VERY small. It was hot in the bedroom, no a/c but there was a ceiling fan. We got bed bugs on our 10 day stay in Calif. perhaps we got them here or at... More

Location was good with easy access to Santa Barbara coast. Room was small but manageable. Parking tight with a $3 fee. Price was decent value with $5 credit per person at restaurant next door. Worked well for our overnight stay.

We stopped at the hotel on the way home from a long road trip. We just needed a quick overnight spot to rest up. This place fits the bill if you are looking for cheap, no frills room. When we checked in the hotel staff told us that we would have one of the newly decorated and upgraded rooms. If... More

Driving up the coast we were looking for a good reasonably priced hotel just outside Santa Barbara which was easily reached from the highway. We were pleasantly surprised with the Coast Village Inn and will stay here again. The hotel is within easy walking distance of a number of good restaurants in Montecito. The rooms are a little small but... More

This upgraded "motel" in Montecito was very enjoyable. Away from the noise and traffic of downtown Santa Barbara, it is located on an upscale street where one can walk to many great shops and restaurants. We stayed in Room 22 which was updated (except for the small bathroom) and had a small ocean view. We enjoyed walking around Montecito and... More

I came to Santa Barbara to run a race and thought this hotel was going to be within walking distance. When I called the hotel to ask, the reservation person looked my race up online and helped me. I did not ask him to do it and was pleasantly surprised at the good service offered. I had a wonderful stay... More
