Room was great. Spotless and well appointed with a nice kitchenette. I flew in on Sunday, from Asia, and was in the office first thing Monday morning feeling good. Caltrain convenient, walk across the parking lot, and easy access to the SJ airport. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel and the room were clean and comfortable. Close to my work and close to shopping (For my wife who was travelling with me). Parking was a little distant but only because we arrived late.

This hotel is THE most convenient choice for visiting Santa Clara University. Location can't be beat - - literally across the street, and next to the CalTrain station. It is an extended stay/limited service hotel, so set your expectations accordingly. But it is clean, friendly, convenient and economical.

This is directly across the street from SCU. You don't even have to rent a car. Fly into the San Jose airport, take the free bus, #10, to the Santa Clara Bus stop - Candlewood Suites is across the street. Great for visiting the school. Overall, it is a decent hotel, nothing special, but location is great.
