A good, clean and comfortable hotel. Not very personal like most big hotels. They charge you more than 30 USD for parking but don't inform you that it's a big car park on the other side of the road that cost 5 USD a day.

The location is the best! While not on the beach, it is a short, two block walk to the beach. Traveling alone, I have felt safe morning and evenings out on the Promenade or the beach. The hotel staff is helpful and accommodations always top notch. It is the only place I stay when visiting Santa Monica.
