We needed a place to stay in Santa Rosa due to a family emergency. The North Bay Inn is reasonably priced for the area and conveniently located. Our room was simple, but freshly painted and spotless. It included a small refrigerator and microwave and is close to a number of restaurants. The management is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I stayed with a group of 10 and the room arrangements were made easy by the staff. The group agreed the stay was simple and comfortable. I liked that the room was not high tech, just a touch of the older style Inns. Short drive to Downtown, easy. I rated cleanliness as very good.

My title tells all but two other comments: the price was not great but ok, their breakfast consisted of cheap packaged pastries to take back to the room (but there is a great restaurant - Lita’s Cafe - very close), and the toilet required a plunger – twice. Basic room. No real breakfast although that was listed as amenity--manager grudgingly made coffee. Only small packaged coffee cake available in office. Not worth staying there.

We stayed over on the way from LA to Humboldt. The staff were friendly and the room clean and quiet. Remodeling construction at the property next door started early - but they should be done by now. Quite a few inexpensive dining options near-by. Many coffee shops near by for the morning.

The room had a musty smell, even though the door was already wide open when we arrived. I opened the window and turned the fan on to air it out and the A/C-heater fan is very loud, no way could I sleep with it on. Well located, further from the busy throughway than most motels, and also cheaper than most in the Napa/Sonoma area. Somewhat basic, but we had a clean and quiet room, free wifi, and the staff are friendly. Recommended!

We reserved a room here based on Trip Advisor reviews. We knew it was a value motel and was not expecting much and that is what we got. It was clean and safe. Otherwise, quite minimal. No coffee maker in room. If you want inexpensive for a quick night sleepover...this will fit the bill.
