This was one of our favorite places that we've stayed in on our 2 week trip around this beautiful state. They were so friendly. Our room was lovely. Location was perfect. Walked to anyplace in town. We wanted to stay 2 nights, but they were booked the 2nd night, so we had to leave. Would definitely stay here again.

The Gables Inn is a lovely small hotel in the best possible situation in Sausalito. My wife and I have tried all the hotels/inns in Sausalito (there are only four) and this is one of the best. It is a quarter block off the main drag and has parking on premises...the other three inns use city parking lots. Some rooms have great bay views and some also have decks. Exceptional room, location and service. Michael would have to be the most attentive and helpful concierge we have had the pleasure of meeting. We would not hesitate in recommending this B&B to friends or family. We hope to stay again in the future.

I and thee others stayed at The Gables Inn last weekend (4/14/12). It was fabulous. The staff was very kind and so accommodating.
