We flew to California to visit Napa Valley but stayed in Sonoma. What a smart choice! Prices are lower and this resort was perfect for us. If you can, reserve or upgrade to a cottage which looks less like a standard hotel room. Cottages are in 2-story buildings so second floor units require using stairs. Outside of our room was... More

The Lodge is a beautiful hotel and I wish I could have stayed longer. It is quiet and small with grounds that are beautifully maintained. The staff (Rhiannon) was very helpful and provided a list of recommended wineries to visit according to our unique wine preferences. We came back early from our wine tasting adventure in order to take advantage... More

Visited Sonoma for the first time over a long weekend for a romantic getaway. The Lodge at Sonoma was a wonderful hotel that we accidentally happened upon. The rooms are beautiful with very comfortable beds. The fireplaces, wine glasses, and corks in every room remind you of why you've come... to relax and drink wine. The hotel has some great... More

We scored a killer deal on staying in this hotel on our first trip to Sonoma and were really happy with the place. The grounds and buildings are impeccable and were really clean and updated. The common areas are outstanding with little fires for people to sit around and have a drink or two and the pool is large enough... More

Stayed for an overnight in one of the cottages. Great space and comfortable beds. The best part was buying a bottle of wine at the wine bar and taking it back to your room and enjoying it on the outdoor patio. The pool space is like a resort, the drinks are pricy. Everywhere on the grounds there is fantastic trees,... More

I dont mind paying over $300 for a room at all but this place needs some work. The pool area looks amazing until you get there and see that they have a serious bird issue. There is a bird droppings everywhere.. even in the pool. We choose this place for the pool area for my kids but to say it... More

Thank u Elizabeth Fenn for organizing a wonderful day of wine tasting in beautiful Sonoma. We thoroughly enjoyed the lodge and the food at your restaurant was excellent. We had a perfect day thanks to you :). Looking forward to another weekend retreat soon.

Sonoma is a beautiful town and the Lodge is a perfect location to check it all out. We stayed three nights for a wedding and loved every bit of it. There is a great pool/patio area to relax and catch some rays and you are just a short walk/ride away from the city square. The hotel brought us to dinner... More

The Lodge is a beautiful property, convenient to Sonoma vineyards and Sonoma Plaza. We again stayed in a well-furnished cottage with fireplace, sitting area and great beds to relax in after long "hard" days of wine tasting. The heated pool provides a great escape. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. And the restaurant offers delicious breakfasts... More

We recently spent 5 nights at the Lodge at Sonoma and highly recommend this resort. The property is pet friendly and they always love to see guests with pets. We were able to spend 4 nights in a one-bedroom casita (with separate living room), but would have to move the final night to one of the Cottage suites. The casita... More
