First, the hallways smell, the beds are not particularly comfortable, the air conditioning only works intermittently, and the walls are paper thin. Friendship Inn has the some of the cleanest rooms & the nicest staff of any hotel that I have ever stayed in. (I am pretty sure that they clean the rooms with a toothbrush). The staff was beyond wonderful.....they could not have been more friendly and helpful! I will definitely stay here again!

I tried this out and thought it was fine, given the location. Best part was free access to a health club down the street. Excellent breakfast for Asian travellers, the manager was very nice. Perfectly fine for business travel, especially those from Asia.
