Campsite and showers were nice. We liked the airplanes nearby. All was fine until two large dogs from a motor home rushed out and attacked me. I ended up in the hospital for stitches, X-rays and shots. (Belgian Malinois - I think)

Park has seen better days, and better management. Worn out sites with little care to maintenance but the big problem is that restrooms are locked overnight! You can imagine what results from this policy. Office staff was very friendly and efficient. Stayed 1-21-22

SUPER user-friendly online reservations. We were traveling from the Grand Canyon and needed a place to stop for the night. Friend found this online and we both made reservations next to each other. Unfortunately, another camper parked in one of our spots and was unwilling to move — BUT, Vicky at the front desk was more than gracious and made things right for us. Great place — 10/10 recommend!

Easy to make reservations on line. Stayed 9 nites. Sites have power and water, and there is a dump station. Staff is helpful, professional, and friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Sites are well maintained. Nearly all sites are not level, and remaining hitched for the night is a problem. Views are excellent. We will stay here again.

We spoke directly with someone when we booked our reservation months ago and and they said we could bring our teardrop trailer. The site says it has showers and bathrooms Only after my wife called to verify the reservation and we were confirmed we them received a call from the owner 10 minutes later, right before our reservation, and cancelled stating you do not have a bathroom or shower in your Teardrop so you cannot stay with us. So glad we did not show up to cancelled reservation. As I read in Yelp, where some called them liars, it was true. Now were are scrambling to fix my wife birthday trip. We travel a lot and this is the only place with a closed bathroom. Funny, how our governor said things should be open and this is closed. Be careful, not sure what else is not right wit this place. If you have staff you all need to be on the same page when working with customers, they are not!

Off of route 68 at the first exit in Tehachapi and adjacent to the Tehachapi Mountain Valley airport, which is famous for its fleet of gliders and one of the two airports in the United States that support gliders due to the hot air up-drafts that are needed to sustain put glider in flight. It’s a small park with only 27 spaces, pull through as well as back-in on dirt pads. There’s also an area for tent camping and a pet area; hookup for water and electrical, no sewer but there is a dump station. On-site Management was great, took reservations on the road and met us at arrival… cost $35 a night with Good Sam and AAA. The park is located in the middle of open fields and apple orchards, with views of the surrounding mountains. Depending on the weather, we were there in April, I can be quite cold and windy however in the spring and summer the view must be beautiful... good place to stay in Tehachapi area and close to a couple of truck/RV gas stations…adjacent to the park is the airport and a wonderful restaurant called Raven’s nest with a full array of breakfast items including homemade gluten-free lemon poppy and banana apple bread. There’s Saturday special as a breakfast of biscuits and gravy or stuffed French toast with cream cheese and an apple or cherry topping. Yum.

We didn’t have reservations but were able to grab one of the few remaining spots. Nice staff and clean, quiet campground. Occasional train in the distance but not loud. Clean bathrooms. Each site has hook-ups and some sites offer trees and a bit of privacy. Reasonably priced and easy to find off freeway. If we come this way again and need a place to stay, we would definitely come back!

This is such a neat place to RV! You can sit next to your rig with your morning coffee and watch the gliders. The sites a good size, but bring a rug since they are mostly dirt and (little bits of) gravel..The restrooms and laundry room are sufficient. One evening, we were awakened by some very bizarre sounds. My husband claimed it was squirrels. I must defend him since he was sound asleep when I asked him to listen. :) The next morning we found out we were hearing coyotes calling out to each other. Within walking distance, you’ll find a fun little restaurant by the airport. The food is good and the folks working there, are very friendly and knowledgeable. We are contemplating gliding the next time we stay at this park, and we will be back! We’ve met some of the friendliest people right here at this unique RV park.

Quiet, scenic little park next to glider airport. Has water and electricity at sites, dumpstation in front of office. Is kept tidy. Has flush restrooms with showers. Think there was a washer/dryer. Did not see dish washing station. Call them, not computer people.

One of the most private secluded rv parks you can find. Off the beaten path in Tehachapi . Right on the airstrip where gliders launch. Very quiet, only coyotes crying at night. Great view of the mountains. Very friendly hosts. Cafe at airport good for breakfast and lunch. A little hard to find, but worth it.
