What a place! Walked through door into a small lobby and then into another room. Bare brick walls, roaring fire and candles for light. We had stepped back in time. Served us with drinks and took our orders. Pea soup was perfect. Beef cheeks were so tender and tasty. Piece de resistance resistances creme brule - dilish. Would love to... More

Best described as a 'restaurant with rooms', Clenaghan's is a fabulous, atmospheric 250 year old pub with attached farm buildings, charmingly converted into six self-catering suites, each of considerable character. I stayed in the Alice suite, the un-rendered stone walls, wooden features and quirky windows giving the cosy feel of a house from Tolkien's Shires. A comfortable lounge area and... More

Fantastic service, rustic feel throughout, gorgeous suites and a massage chair to boot. We stayed in the Rosa Suite, took our own food and cooked in our room, so so romantic. The perfect getaway. Will definitely go back again!

Clenaghans is a little diamond in the country, sophisticated and classy, brilliant staff and an amazing accommodation. Has the lot, a restaurant, 250 year old country pub, would recommend anybody to stay here for a fantastic break to recharge and relax. The location is very central, a great hub to explore the country.

Visited Clenaghans for a Dinner B&B, and despite only being a couple of miles from home it was a real treat and great experience. We stayed in the Sir John Laverty's suite and can't speak highly enough about it! It was like a big apartment, full lounge, kitchens, entrance room, main bathroom and big master bedroom. Very clean, very well... More
