I've never written a review during a stay but just have to really acknowledge the great vibe of this place ( even during May mud season) and a really personable staff. The restaurant was quite terrific, tho a tad pricey for my taste. Really great experience, very Euro, but quite intimate.

The Cedar House Sport Hotel is a convenient place to stay if you want to be near Truckee and NorthStar. The rooms are very comfortable with nice beds and your own duvet. Great pillows too! They serve a nice breakfast that comes with the room. Expresso cafes are extra but delicious. A very friendly staff awaits your arrival.

Love the Hotel and it's service, but steer clear of room 106 - it is positioned toward the street and is street level, allowing too much road noise for a good nights sleep. Overall, rooms are well appointed and service is great. In the end we felt the price ($275 pn) was not justified..
