Hi all, We decided to on a last minute ski trip to squaw. There are no inexpensive places to stay during ski season. We went thru expedia and paid around $200 for the night. It is only 20 minutes or so from Squaw and right next to the freeway. Check in was simple and the clerk was courteous and efficient.... More

The room was large and comfortable with breakfast included. Everything was very clean. The hotel is about 30 minutes drive from Squaw/Alpine ski areas. The hotel is clean enough. Our room seemed recently remodeled. The location is great -- central to many of the ski resorts and close to downtown Truckee. There were too many trespassers using the jacuzzi late at night. Trespassers being those that just walk in off the street not paying for a room. I think it creates a lack of security that is very uncomfortable. The secondary door to the hotel was left unlocked every night I stayed (6) that would allow unathorized entrance to the building....
