Had a great stay at the Vagabond. Remodeled rooms were functional, clean and well appointed for a 2 star property. Location was very convenient to visit family and friends. Quiet but safe. This motel has been updated - nice, comfortable beds, bathroom and shower updated and more than I expect at a two star motel. We have been staying at the Vagabond Inn in Whittier, Ca. for over 5 years now and feel like we have gone home when we are there. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff they make you feel like family. We haven't and won't stay anywhere other than the Vagabond Inn when we visit our family in Whittier, Ca.

Before booking I read mixed reviews about this place. I have to say I was impressed. Apparently they remodeled the place about a year ago and the bed and bathroom are comfortable and clean. I traveled with my dog, having no problems at all. The service was good.

First stay here was a few years back, since then the remodeled rooms are excellent. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok for a qik start-up.
