The great thing about the Boulderado is the location. You can check in, park your car and you are in the middle of Pearl Street which is the best walking mall I have ever seen. Ok, back to the hotel. The lobby has that ambience that you have traveled back to the western days with velvet chairs and rich carpet.... More

Stayed 3 nights on my first trip to Boulder, CO on business and was booked into The Boulderado. Room impressions was that it was small, but well-stock with the necessary amenities. TV was high-def, and wifi free in the entire hotel. Standard in-room coffee maker and tea bags also welcomed for the jet-lag traveler. Those were big pluses for me.... More

Whether you will like this hotel or not just depends on whether you are the type of person that enjoys old, historic hotels or prefer modern facilities. If you are the latter, don't book this hotel. You should look at the Marriott or the St. Julien. This a a wonderful hotel that is ideally located downtown, just off of Pearl... More

Great place to stay, especially during the Holidays. Nice staff, excellent location, comfortable rooms, valet parking. The hotel is old and remodeled, but that is what gives it it's charm. The history is amazing. During the holidays, there was a 30 foot tall Christmas tree in the lobby, gorgeous. My mom stays here every time she goes to Boulder, too.... More

If you like older downtown city hotels that have been updated; then the Boulderado is for you. Refurbished rooms, excellent restaurant and walking available. Service is kept at a high level and all the employees were very helpful. You can feel the history and can imagine all the people that have walked those floors over a hundred plus years.

My wife and I have stayed here on two occasions. The first time we were in the Annex. The second time we asked for a room in the main building. I recommend that you stay in the main building if possible. All the furniture is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. You have the feeling that you are stepping... More

Swank was my companion's description and Historic is mine. The rooms were nice, well thought out. The employees friendly and accommodating. After reading other reviews, make certain you check what your room view will be like. I stayed in the newer part on the 4th floor with the room overlooking a courtyard. The heating and air-conditioning unit is loud but... More

How could this not be the top hotel in Boulder. Who would stay at a Hyatt when you could stay at a first class hotel steeped in history like the Boulderado. Well I guess that's what keeps the chains in business. I loved my time here and hope to have an excuse to come back with the family, my son... More

We were touring the area with our college bound daughter and decided to stay at this absolutely lovely old stately hotel in the commercial area of beautiful Bolder. We were placed in the Historic part of this wonderful gem and were not disappointed. There are only a few of these hotels left anymore. This hotel reminds me of The Wort... More
