Small, quaint. Exceptional service. They treat you like family!!! We loved our stay. I felt like my grandparents were taking care of us! Perfect getaway, close to the peak. I can’t say enough about them and the motel!!

Such a hidden gem!!! We were unable to find camping for the evening after Pike's Peak and didn't want to go too far from Garden of the God's. We were able to snag the last king size room - the owners were so nice and welcoming! The rooms have been recently updated on a mountain cottage style and came with a large TV, microwave and fridge. The adjoining bathroom was also beautifully updated. I can't rave enough about the shower - high shower head, good pressure. The bed was extremely comfortable. I'm not typically a fan of motels, but this is by far the nicest and has certainly changed my opinion. Stop and stay here. You will not be disappointed.

This place is great. My room was very clean, comfortable, & looked recently remodeled. I was here to load the last of my home furniture on a move to New Mexico. Needed a reasonable priced hotel close to my home in Woodland Park. The owners are very friendly. Get away from Colorado Springs, but close enough to all they city events. Only deal in cash. Wonderful breakfast place is the Pantry in Green Mountain Falls.

We just happened upon this place as we were driving by and we are so glad we did! The owner was so helpful and friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay another night. The rooms were extremely clean. The large tile shower was an unexpected luxurious surprise.

This was our second stay. We found this wonderful spot last year after visiting Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. The rooms were like visiting an Inn in Europe. The décor very nice. The log head boards fit the setting. Clean , very clean rooms. The proprietors are on site, making sure you have enough towels and are comfortable throughout your stay. Very near Pikes Peak, a pleasant drive to Garden of the Gods the back way. Restaurants and drinking establishment near by and in walking distance. Not only are the fair prices, you easily feel you got more than what you pad for. So we came and stayed again this year. When driving thru which will likely do, visiting the wolves and seeing my son we will stop again and again. I know the old saying when you find a gem don't tell anyone. But that would be unfair to this fine establishment.…

We found this motel a few years back. We would not stay anyplace else in the area. The owners are so nice and helpful. The rooms are being remolded one by room. They are a great couple who make the label Mom and Pop motel stand true. They are both crafty rock mason and needle work. You could not ask for a more pleasant stay. Some rooms have small kitchenettes. Rates are very reasonable with weekly also available. You are within minutes from Pikes Peak. Cripple Creek it less than an hour. You have a Candy shop and The Wines for lunch/dinner within walking distance.Hungry Bear is a great place for breakfast just down the road.
