Great boutique hotel. If you want a Holiday Inn or a Best Western this is not for you. If you want a hotel filled with history and charm it is. The hotel has had a recent change in ownership and that may be why we didn't recognize it from the previous reviews. “Great place in the middle of nowhere!”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Plains Hotel. The hotel is uniquely decorated with cowboy and native american artwork and artifacts, and our room was very clean and affordable.
