The pillows are the fluffiest i ve ever felt. Rooms were clean and staff was great. Located right off the highway. Next to shopping and lots of place to eat food and to have a cold drink. Garden of Gods is near and all the hotel near by but this one is the best.

Due to my Mom being in the hospital in Colorado Springs and then my husband having been airlifted to Grand Junction, I was alone in CS all by myself. My brother booked me at this motel until my son could come and pick me up the next day. The first room I was put in was dirty and I had to be moved because the TV didn't work. So second room was dirty, black sticky stuff on the walls and floors, the TV worked, but there was what looked like milkshake all over it and then when I opened the refrigerator, I found said (Strawberry) milkshake spilled in the freezer compartment. The next morning I found out my son wouldn't make it from Grand Junction in time for checkout so I asked at front desk how long I could extend checkout and they said 11:30. So my brother decided to just have me stay another night and made me another reservation by phone well before that time but said they had the room I wasi n booked so they were going to move me. I went back to Lobby after I was informed of this (I was just thrilled about staying another night in this place... NOT) I was told they hadn't gotten any reservation yet but to check back in a while so I go back to my room and get a knock at the door. A polite young man asked if I was staying another night and I said yes but that they were supposed to move me. He said he was going to clean the room next door and that I could move in there. I was like ok cool. So I'm waiting for them to let me know something, about an hour passes and there's a hard knock at the door. I wrongly assumed they were ready to move me. I answer the door and this big fat creepy looking guy tells me to clear out of the room and when I said I am supposed to be moved, he yells at me that I need to get out and that I don't have a reservation. I said I did and after all I had been through I had just had it so I yelled back and said some cuss words. He then stated that even if I did have a reservation he wouldn't rent to me because "I don't scream at him." So I guess even though I was the customer, it was okay that he screamed at me but I wasn't able to scream back. I slammed the door in his face after telling him to give me 5 minutes. I had no transportation so I was standing out in the heat on the curb crying and was about to call a taxi and book another place after calling my brother when he called the corporate office and got things straightened out which they claimed was a computer glitch. I don't care what it was, I don't normally give bad reviews or wish ill on others, but I hope that piece of crap who kicked me out of my room lost his job, but it's doubtful. My husband and I used to work on the road and stayed in many Motel 6's. They didn't even offer me anything for my horrible experience and I will make sure this experience is known by as many family and friends and travelers as possible. I asked to be moved to a different room later that evening because I kept smelling cigarette smoke and the third room I was moved to, there were mouse turds all over the floor in the bathroom. If you want cops, drugs, homeless, dog poop, caved in beds, cold coffee and ugly customer service this is the place! Stayed here for a couple of months due to job location and by far nasty experience! Sheets weren't changed, boogers on walls, dog snot everywhere and a black shower pan found in 5 rooms. I had to scrub it clean. Loud housekeepers as well. RUN!

I’m really not a fussy traveler and my baseline is clean and safe, no red carpet expected, but this was literally the worst lodging experience I’ve ever had in my life. The best words I could use to describe it would include “sketchy,” “unsafe-feeling,” and “disgusting.” Chronologically-speaking, I had a horrible registration experience. I was told by the hotel attendant there were vacancies but the reservation desk said there weren’t. After being placed on hold for over 30 minutes, the call was disconnected. I called back and was able to book the room after being assured that I was getting was getting a “non-smoking” room. At arrival, the attendant was pleasant and swift (one of only 2 highlights of the place). We began placing our belongings into our room and were assaulted with massive cigarette smells (so much for non-smoking) and there were even burn holes in the comforters. I returned to the office and requested a room that didn’t reek of cigarette smells. My children are allergic to smoke and would have been in respiratory distress by morning if we had stayed in that room. The clerk secured a different room that didn’t smell like smoke but it was evident that someone had “fabreezed” the crap of out of the place (better than smoke!). There were dozens of tenants at this place, sitting outside their rooms in chairs (smoking), many doors were wide open as they secured both indoor and outdoor space for their purposes. It definitely had the feeling of a “rent-by-the-hour” kind of place. Moving on, there were bugs crawling across our floor, there was vomit in the parking lot where we were trying to load/unload our car, the toilet seat was broken off the toilet (literally not affixed in anyway), and we slept on top of the linens because I didn’t trust was under them and prayed we didn’t take bugs with us. The double-bed rooms were so tight that the bed closest to the outside wall was literally less than 2” from the wall which was home to the pathetic air conditioning unit. I had to clean the a/c vent which was fully blocked with dust in order to get airflow and then had to sleep 2” from the a/c….not exaggerating folks, horrid. I barely slept all night as I woke at least 15 times to check and see if my car was still in the parking lot and whether it had been vandalized. There were no frills like shampoo, lotion, etc. and 2 towels were provided for our family of four to utilize (we requested 2 more and received them). The shower had such low pressure that it took minutes to rinse our hair out. When I got up to use the restroom in the night, the entire floor was moist…as if the dew from outside had settled across our entire room as well. The only reason we selected this place was because it had a pool for the kids, so that’s the only other highlight I can even bring myself to list…there was a pool and it was not green. Otherwise, I would’ve felt safer staying in my locked car in a well-lit parking lot somewhere than this place. Spend your money elsewhere and stay away from this one (3228 N. Chestnut, Colorado Springs, CO).…

Pulled up to 5 police cars in front of my room. Lots of people in and out all weekend long and not many were motel guests. My husband wouldn't let me leave the room to take the pups out because is was unsafe. Crazy woman stood outside my room screaming she hates white women and she woke me up screaming "I hate you and I am going to kill you." We tried to transfer to the other Motel 6 and was told our second night was nontransferable. When we talked to the guy at the front desk Sat night and complained, he stated everyone has the right to stay there and if there is a problem to call the police. Every morning it sounded like people banging on walls or jumping all around us. I believe the housekeeping guy was the one making all the noise and saw him talking to himself, hitting himself in the head and punching a steel pole outside my room. A one rating is being generous.…

I stopped in here without a reservation and was satisfied with the room. It was clean and free WiFi. For some reason this hotel and the Super 8 next to it are not listed on the I-25 signage. I drove past it and had to backtrack to exit 145. There are several restaurants close to the motel.

Group of young people not staying near me standing outside my room window smoking all hours of the day and night. Housekeeping left the door open and kept spraying their scented spray in the room even after being told I am allergic to scents. The first time when I spoke to the front desk about it the Assistant Manager was standing there. It does need to be noted I had to go into the office twice on this occasion because the two guys who were supposed to be at the front desk were outside smoking and did not come in to see if I needed assistance. The second day I talked to the front desk about the spraying I was told it was not written down in their book so no one knew. The third time I talked to the front desk the young lady was less than interested in hearing any complaints and I had to tell her to write my complaint down she huffed and puffed about it. Went into the office the next morning and they knew nothing about my issues or conversation the night before. I asked that no one go into the room if I was not there to avoid the problems yet they continued to go in. Customer service is non existent and all but one female at the front desk was rude.…

WARNING!!!DONT TRUST YOU RESERVATIONS BEING HONORED IN FULL AT MOTEL 6 CHESTNUT ST COLORADO SPRINGS CO.!!! I had a full week reserved there because I was working in the area and when I got in from work on the 4 day they hAD my things gathered from my room. They said and showed me on their computer my reservation was only 4 days. Although I showed them on my phone the reservation and confirmation number they said they couldn't help me that I had to take it up with the manager in the morning. They put me out in the street after a hard day at work with my elderly dog and all my things...oh yeah and a full weeks reservation too. I am in touch with the BBB and an attorney to see what I can do to get compensation for this horrible treatment by a nationwide corporation.

I booked this hotel for a last minute stay. The prime reason I chose this hotel was the ability to park in front of the room door. When I drove up the steep drive however, I was met by a lady who told me that I had to detach the cargo trailer (I was pulling) and leave on the side of the road across the street. When I told her that there was no way I was leaving it there and that their website indicated free on sight parking, I was told to cancel my reservation. Their "free" parking was not for ALL types of vehicles.
