Stayed 3 nights in suite, with old stained furniture and torn window screens, dirty windows.. Asked to see another room but was no better. Could not make other arrangements. Would not stay again. Non guests were camping out in the parking lot and using breakfast room and facilities, apparently with permission by some of the staff.

Hotel's Favourite
The hotel is just OK. Not bad, not great. We had out 2 kids and 2 dogs, and were on a month-long roadie, so it fit the bill pricewise. The room had been updated not too long ago (but not too recent either). Location is excellent for visiting Garden of the Gods. And as I mentioned, they do allow dogs. Right next door to a Chik-Fil-A as well as a Family diner-style restaurant. One incident that kind of irked me I will share: it was late and I had some work to finish while my family was going to bed so I headed to the lobby. On my way over, there was a guy smoking right next to the door and my room was right next to the door as well, so his smoke outside wafted into my room (not cool), so I let the mgr know and she huffed like it was a big deal for her to stop what she was doing, but she did go talk to him. Then she comes back and the TV in the lobby is blaring some reality TV show where people argue and yell at each other, so I asked her politely, since nobody else was in the lobby, if she would turn down the volume SOME; her response (not joking) "Yeah, Im watching that." and then it dawned on her that maybe that wasnt waht she should have said, again huffed and said "...but I can." and then muted it. Was pretty shocked that she would tell a customer that, but again, not exactly Ritz Carlton White-Glove treatment expectations here. Other than that, the stay was fine. Breakfast was fine. Internet worked well. Beds were fairly comfortable. Room was large. Would likely stay here again.

We booked a pet free room online. When we got there, a pet free room was not available. We looked at 2 different rooms that were available and both seemed unkept and both smelled dirty. Not a clean smell you expect when walking into a hotel room. We went elsewhere.

Am a gold member and this hotel far surpassed expectations! Was greeted with enthusiasm, the amenities are perfect and the bed was so far the best of many of the Choice Hotels I've stayed at recently. As of today, am a Platinum member due to the many stays in the last few monhhs. Hands down one of the best! They gave faith in Choice again.

Chose this place for proximity to a couple of things we wanted to do/see on our Colorado road trip. Room was fine but this place is a labyrinth. Dark dingy corridors, very difficult to figure out where you are, and why they choose dark colors for all the corridors and rooms amazes me. The place was pretty much full for the two nights we stayed and we could not park anywhere close to our entrance. Signs say they are doing a refurb, so hopefully they will do something to improve the overall quality.

Booked online. No where did it say the room I was booking was pet friendly. Arrived and the room smells like a wet dog. Called the front desk and all they can do is spray air freshener in the room. They claim they are sold out of all rooms, yet I can book a room here, right now online. Dishonest practices will not yield a favorable review.

We liked this place and would stay again. The location was nice, close to 25 and plenty of dining options around. We booked a suite and it’s two full rooms with two doors and two bathrooms. Two queens in one room, and a pullout sofa and seating in the other. It was nice to have so much space. Most hotels at this price range just have a sleeper sofa in the same room as the beds so we were more than pleased. Everything in the room was in working order. Beds were comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were also clean. We didn’t even get a chance to check out the pool, but I know they had one outside. The outside was well kept and safe. Had to use your room key to enter the building that was separate from check in. Our room wasn’t ready at 245, so we headed to pikes peak (must do) and when we got back it was ready. Breakfast in the morning was normal hotel breakfast fare. Only a couple things stopped me from giving it five stars. Major downfall was the bathtubs were falling apart. We had two bathrooms and while they were clean, the coating was peeling off of both the tubs. It made it look quite dingy. However they were clean, but the bathtubs definitely need to be remodeled (oddly the counter, sink, walls, and flooring all seemed like they weren’t updated too long ago, maybe just didn’t get there yet). Second was the two chairs in the living room had a lot of stains on them, but honestly that seems about the norm for hotels chairs sadly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Just hope they would be updating the bathtubs sometime soon.

I chose this hotel because it is close to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful even when we arrived at 2am. The breakfast is your typical hotel lobby breakfast which was fine. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Great hotel for the price! Staff was very friendly and they served a good breakfast. The rooms were recently updated. Toilet paper and facial tissues were good quality as well. I am assuming the bad reviews on here were mostly made prior to the building being renovated and updated.

This hotel is the total package. We have stayed here a number of times and everything works, clean, up to date. We travel extensively and have stayed in more than a 100 hotels and motels world wide. Invariably most hotels have stuff that is not working, looks terrible, comes up short some how. Not this Quality Inn. Everything is exactly what we would want, expect and hope for. Thank you so much. Doesn't hurt they also have a terrific location with 6+ restaurants within walking distance.
