Many other Innkeepers should be guided by this place. Clean, tidy, warm and friendly without being over the top. Everything we needed in just the right proportions and Chris is a star. We have CB and this B&B pencilled in for a longer stay next year despite it being so far away. And yes, his breakfasts are very good too!

The Purple Mountain B&B is a wonderful place to relax and truly feels like home. It's hard to beat coming down in the morning to a fire burning in the fireplace and one of Chris's gourmet breakfasts. My wife and I stayed in the Whetstone room for our honeymoon for 2 nights. It was wonderful! The service is awesome, the rooms are super clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, its a dog friendly place, and the breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend staying here during your stay in Crested Butte.

A charming B&B nestled in the heart of Crested Butte, with a gracious host and chef...Chris. Our room was small but had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and served beautifully. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back porch after a long day of exploring. A beautiful place in a breathtaking setting.
