We just stayed two nights at the GKMI. The staff was absolutely wonderful in meeting or exceeding our needs. The hotel property looks old(er) and could use some upgrades. The room was clean and very comfortable, but again, the contents could use some upgrading. The hotel is associated with the Wildwood Casino (about 2 minutes drive from the hotel) and... More

If you have a dog and like to swim and like to workout and want a hotel convenient to Cripple Creek gambling and like nice people and good food, this is the place for you. "Kat" the receptionist we dealt with was more than accommodating with all our requests. The hotel allowed and "Kat" actually encouraged having our dog in... More

The staff was so very nice! Very gracious, asking us regularly if there was anything we needed. The inn is being remodeled, and needs it. First floor closed because they were putting in new carpeting. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though dated with old furniture. Nice tv, Cable and free Internet. Excellent complimentary full breakfast buffet offered down the hill... More

The hotel room was absolutely disgusting! There was hair all over the bathroom floor. Dirty towels were left behind the bathroom door. The room was covered in dust and had obviously not been cleaned well in a very long time. The carpet was filthy. We will never book a room at Gold King Mountain Inn again!

We stayed here for 4 nights recently and were blown away at how nice the entire staff was. The rooms are very simple but well maintained and have all the things you need. Fridge and even Microwave. These are like mini suites, free internet wired and wireless available, pool. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in... More

If you're unfortunate enough to have to stay in cripple creek then I guess you could do worse. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. the hotel is at the top of a hill, with the restaurant in the casino at the bottom. Too far to walk in winter, so you have to drive if you're in a hurry... More

We asked Friday afternoon to get a hotel room at the casino we were playing at and the staff was very accommodating for us. The staff is great at the casino and ok at the hotel. I think they are doing the best at what they are given to work with. We get to the hotel and it looked a... More

We arrived on a Thursday at 3:15pm. I had requested a king room near the pool. The room was ready immediately. The Desk Clerk was very helpful. I was told on the phone that they accepted AARP-10% off. When we checked in she asked if we had a Players Club card from the Wildwood Casino. I didn't and she told... More

I noticed many of the reviewers commenting @the breakfast, which I guess is important to a lot of people-- however, if you've had a late night out__ I think is inconvenient having to go off-site + it only lasts from 7-10am. Anyway, like some others experienced, we arrived @6:30pm and a king room was. NOT ready-- we had to wait... More

In short, I rate the room "poor", but the breakfast, which is served offsite at the casino down the hill, is above average for this type of lodging. Since the room itself is probably more important to most people than the breakfast, I am rating this hotel Poor. My wife, two young adult sons and I struggled finding good, reasonably... More
