I stayed at the Curtis for a business trip when the rest of my groups' hotel was sold out. I was pleasantly surprised by the themed floors, complete with a fun elevator ride (Simpson's fans will like the TV floor). The room wasn't huge, but enough for me. The entire hotel was very clean. The Curtis was a short walk... More

The location is fabulous! Walking distance to the state Capitol building and a beautiful outdoor mall area that had lots of shops and restaurants - the area is quite busy but perfect for an evening outing. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is dog friendly so if you have an allergy you might want to ask about it, but... More

I arranged a group stay at this hotel for a conference at the Colorado Convention Center, and couldn't have been more pleased. The location is fantastic, an easy walk to the center, and the parking is secure, underground, and reasonably priced for the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the fun themes on each floor are carried through... More

The pictures I seen of the Curtis on Expedia did not look like the hotel in Person. To me it seems like once it was a old hotel that they re-painted and put some fancy carpet down. The room I stayed in was EXTREMELY small along with the bathroom. On our last night the air quit working. Parking is $22... More

Hello - Thank you for taking the time to write a review! I am so sorry that we didn't exceed your expectations! The hotel is indeed an older high-rise building in downtown Denver that was fully renovated in 2007 - and continually updated each year. We have a pop-culture inspired decor and attitude which, depending on your age, gives a... More

Stayed at this pet friendly hotel after we went to see a show. The room was good sized and had a small sitting area. The bathroom was a little weird in arrangement but just fine. Each floor has a theme and the rooms are decorated to match. The hotel is across the street from the theater and in an excellent location... More

Good day! So glad you enjoyed the hotel! We do have a terrific location and you are right - Downtown is really the place to be on weekends now so it is a great idea to book restaurant reservations in advance. Were you able to try our Corner Office & Martini Bar? It is fabulous and we have one of... More

Very handy being close the Buell Theater and convention center. Close to the 16th Street mall, Also close to a lot of very nice places to eat. The hotel has been redone but could be better. The staff is very friendly. Really enjoy the warm cookies and bottles of water when you checkin.

Had a work meeting here and the location, facilities and staff were great. Walk to everything. Right across the street from the theaters and two blocks from 16th street mall. They could use their own airport shuttle though. Only downside.

Nice looking hotel, but very noisy with lots of noise from air conditioning, trains outside, other guests. Wouldn't recommend it, if you want to sleep.

I am so sorry that we did not meet your expectations! We are definately a downtown hotel so there is some urban noise - but noise from other guests we can usually manage - we have a terrific security department that tries to insure that everybody enjoys their stay without disrupting others! I am so sorry that was not the... More

This is a longtime Denver hotel that has recently been remodeled into a trendy, quirky, hip hotel. The staff is friendly. The location is great for theater or other downtown activities. The floor themes and elevator announcements are entertaining (even being put on hold provides entertainment). Rooms have comfortable beds and a fridge. The hotel does have flaws that the... More
