We originally booked for 3 nights and then added a 4th (early May 2012). It was everything we wanted (but seldom get) in a B&B -- Impeccably clean, creative and delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed, and gracious and helpful hosts. We’ll be back!

My sister and I choose this B & B on a whim from reviews and we couldn't have found a better place to unwind from the day. We were only passing through but would have loved to stay longer. We stayed in the Alpine Room in May. The suite was spacious and had an outside entrance. There was a refrigerator...

This B & B is a gem. We loved our stay here. We look forward to going back for years to come. The hosts, Marvin and Patra, were very accomodating. They even made pancakes especially for me because it was my birthday. They really helped us with the local atttractions and sites and even made great restaurant recommendations. We stayed...

Great location, friendly people, fantastic room, beautiful scenery, awesome breakfast, super convenient. Did I mention, awesome breakfast? This choice was perhaps the best of our entire vacation. Forget impersonal downtown hotels. This place is nestled in the mountains with a soothing creek and duck pond & lots of wildlife. The owners were amazing people who have apparently developed a loyalty...

I stayed at the Lightner Creek Inn for several nights in June 2011. The location, facilities and hosts were truly fantastic.
Right from the start and throughout my stay I was made to feel welcome and offered advice on local attractions and eateries (which proved to be great). Nice people. Coupled with the gorgeous setting and initial first impressions of...

We only planned to stay at Lightner Creek in for one night on our way to Moab, but found ourselves needing to book an extra night due to car issues. Marvin and Patra were kind enough to find us another room with plenty of room for us and our toddler and charged us the same price as our original room...

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Mesa Verde. The inn is located on a beautiful property. When we arrived our hosts took us on a tour of the main house and property. It was covered in snow and had a fairy tale feel. Our room had everything we needed and more! Wifi, jet tub, cable tv and all...

Let me preface this by saying that we really enjoyed our stay at Lightner Creek Inn. Marvin & Patra are engaging, gracious hosts. The breakfasts are fantastic - we never left the table feeling hungry (Marvin's experience cooking for a large group really shines here.) Those maple pecan scones were amazing! The setting is tranquil and lovely.
That said, there...

We stayed at lightner creek for just one night but it was very memorable and pleasing. When making our reservations, the website asks what food allergies or dietary exceptions they need to accommodate and they were happy to make a special breakfast for us at 730 the next morning. Very hospitable and gracious hosts. The room was cozy and felt...
