We stayed here and it was so bad, bad, and so unfriendly that we reported same to HI INC. The rooms were very dirty with a cracked mirror, parking was on a gravel poorly lit area, front desk was less than friendly, not even a coffee pot or paper. And we got this for only $175.00. We like HI and... More

We always need to find a quallity hotel that will accept our 11 year old German Shepherd. This hotel had large clean rooms with easy outside access to several miles of walking trails along the Animas River. Great place to take our dog for much needed exercise after a long drive and only a $10 pet fee.

Clean facilities, good bargain, great location. There's an Applebee's in the hotel for meals.

Access to the second floor is through a set of doors, which also houses the ice machines, soda machines and the laundry room. But when you enter the doors the smell of ‘wet cat’ (or ‘dead wet cat’) hits you in the face – not just a little, but enough to make you gag. Quality of the room was well... More

Had previously stayed here 3 or 4 times when it was a part of the Holiday Inn chain so wasn't sure how it would be under its new ownership. I shouldn't have worried - we were warmly welcomed, checked in, given our room at 13:00 and the service throughout our stay was efficient and friendly. The location of this motel... More

My friend and I planned a last minute trip to Durango last weekend. When looking into it, we found out that it happened to be the weekend of the Durango Snow Down Festival...and suddenly, we were having a hard time finding accomodations. I stumbled across this hotel while looking at TripAdvisor, and decided to give it a try...what a great... More

We had a river view room. The light at night was very bright and the noise from other visitors was disturbing. The room was clean; however, we had to call for our room to be cleaned after 3 pm. We had been away from our room for several hours and expected it to be cleaned when we returned. I had... More

The Doubletree was sold out so I booked a room for one night between Christmas and New Year's Eve. I should have known when I called to confirm and "Sara" the manager was quite curt and unfriendly that it going to be a bad experience. The room was very small witth an odor I can't really describe. The biggest issue... More

River was across the parking lot and night lights so bright you had to close the drapes anyway. We found it clean but shabby. It was pretty quiet for the area. At least two buses were parked in the back lot with us too.
