Good location in the middle of town, staff courteous, very good breakfast, classy décor of good-old western movies. Our room on the 4th floor was cold despite the warm temp outside probably because of the old and high ceiling. Parking is across the street. We didn't have problem crossing the busy street. Very comfortable hotel with lots of history and charm. Bedrooms very comfortable, whilst not being terribly spacious. The bars are welcoming and the menus are varied to suite all. Stayed here a number of times and will stay again while in Durango. Historic hotel, very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and decorated with early 20th century decor. The hotel restaurant and bar are great as well.
