Lots of brown panelled walls and odd coloured carpets. Bathroom door was broken. But the room did what it was supposed to - a good night sleep, fair breakfast and a fair price. Walking distance to a few decent restaurants.

Stayed at the Durango Super 8. Reasonable price, clean, courteous staff, accepted our dog - I would recommend this Super 8 to anyone. We stayed at 3 Super 8's on our trip and the one in Bloomfield even let us check in very early as I had business to conduct on my laptop.

This is not a high end motel and even a little worn in places but the rooms were clean and they accepted our little dog. What made our stay here so great is the staff .the nicer you are to them the nicer they are to you, even the laundry guy asked if there was anything he could do .... More

The bad experience started with the rotten directions from a hotel employee: "It's right next to WalMart." This hotel is OK if you just need a place to sleep. Rooms are very worn and there were holes in the blanket on the bed. EVen though it was well worn, it was clean and quiet. The breakfast was OK. The front desk clerks were very friendly.

Have stayed at better. The rooms were clean but the facilities were a bit dirty (looks like maybe under construction, but without any signs). We were in and out of Durango all week. All we needed was a place to sleep and breakfast, which was provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful with stashing our bags for two days while we were in Silverton and printing out our boarding passes the night before we left. Will stay here again. Durango may be steep, but I thought it was a little over priced. Lobby computer, washing machine, and an ice maker not working dtracted from the experience. But all in all a nice place.
