Stayed 2 nights. Beds were amazing. Room size a bit larger than average. Bathroom was just fine. Didn't care for any of the three settings on the shower head. Loved the fridge and microwave. Excellent value in a high dollar area. It was exactly what we have come to expect from the Choice Hotel Group's Comfort Inn and Suites. Staff and amenities were great.

Stayed here on a business trip recently, room was clean and location was good for my meeting. What prompted my review is the breakfast and the service provided. Spent three nights and everything was almost perfect. We hit a weekend with a lot of out of town young soccer players in town for tournaments, but even at that our stay was great. Service was excellent and very friendly. Definitely a good place to stay.

We were in town for a Fort Lewis band concert and a day trip to Mesa Verde National Park. Our accommodations in Durango were wonderful. There were two sport teams staying at the motel and the staff did fantastic job keeping up with breakfast in the morning. The staff was friendly.

Even as we were leaving staff were still being helpful, one who had just finished his night shift, very impressive. Good filling hot breakfast, included. No restaurants within walking distance, must drive into town to access. 1-2 miles or 3km.

We booked this hotel in March 2012. It was adequate, but just a couple notes for those who will be going there. If you don't want to hear highway traffic all night, request a room that is on the backside of the hotel opposite the highway. This is a good hotel, and only minutes from historic downtown Durango and the popular Silverton - Durango train depot. The reception and breakfast area were clean upon check in.
