I drove by a lot of places near Evergreen Colorado, before I selected Alpen Way for my stay in October, 2011. I liked the look of it right away, and my hunch was right. It is nestled under a rocky outcrop, just far enough away from the road to be private. It's a very short drive to downtown Evergreen, which... More

My family and I absolutely LOVED staying at the Alpen Way Chalet Inn in Evergreen Colorado, Charming doesn't begin to describe this place, you will fall in love from the moment you pull up. They have cabins for any size couple, group, or family. We stayed in the Jubilee Suite, that had a beautiful kitchen (I wanted to take the... More

I had a wonderful time at the Alpen Way Chalet. Friendly management, clean room, and lots of charm. Evergreen is a great place to get away to, and the Alpen Way Chalet is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing mountain weekend. I highly recommend it.

A nice, accommodating, spacious, comfortable and reasonable place to stay. Went there to see the Railbenders at the Little Bear. Great show, as always! But, don't let them tell you that you can walk to town. It is well over 1 mile and along a dangerous road (no shoulder, no sidewalk). But, I would go back for a long weekend... More

When my husband and I booked this trip, we were looking to escape Denver into the mountains. This mountain inn was not advertised as a bed and breakfast but they did include a light breakfast basket that was in our room upon check in. We loved the smoke free premises, hot tub and even used the firepit that night. The... More

First, this site has the name wrong, but the address is correct so I'm talking about the same place. We stayed in the Jubilee suite and for the price per others in town, it was large and really more than we needed. The grounds were plenty and the banana muffins were awesome. Evergreen Lake is close and a great place... More

We stayed in the Enchanted room and loved it. It was just what we were looking for...quiet and quaint and away from people. The staff was nice enough but we saw them only to check in. The room was lovely! We had our own patio and fire pit and it was romantic and quiet. We didn't really like the town... More

They accused us of smoking pot and charged us a non refundable 200.00 fee w/out notification causing our bank account to go under during our vacation. Awful management. This was not a bed and breakfast, it was not easy to walk downtown as they had told us, not on the lake path as they had told us, and definitely not... More

We have had our church women's group at your chalet the past two years and have loved it. It's so accessible, fits our group size, and we have as much privacy as we desire for our weekend getaway! The owners are so accommodating too! Thanks!

Quite a dissapointment for the price. This is not a bed and breakfast. The room we were in, the A room, had acetone in the closet, dirty silverware in the drawers, was noisy with the furnace right next to one of the beds, tv clickers that didn't work etc. A basket with bottled juice and a muffin is not a...
