I've stayed in the regular hotel rooms before, but they were not available this year. This was my first experience staying in a hostel and it was fantastic. Everything is very clean. The people are quite friendly. There are four seperate shower rooms and four seperate toilet/sink rooms that allow for privacy. The communal kitchen is especially well outfitted with... More

My family and I stayed in the Rose Suite of Rocky Mountain Chalet for eleven nights over Christmas, 2011. We are so glad we did. The room has a lovely sunny aspect with views across the tubing park to the surrounding mountains. It was spacious with enough room for a family of four although we often spilled out into the... Perfect location, everything you need within a block, including Safeway, KFC, Mexican resteraunt in parking lot, train station 3.5 blocks away, bus stop to mountain .5 blocks. Awesome staff, very friendly guests, GREAT KITCHEN. I have made some good friends while staying there. I stayed closing week last April and was very happy with my choice to stay at RMC,... More

We just returned from a visit to Fraser over Christmas and we LOVED the Rocky Mtn Chalet!! From the moment we arrived we felt like were were home (not to mention all the Floridians)...Lynda made us feel right at home and took care of every detail...she is a GEM! We spent 5 nights here while exploring the Rocky Mountain back roads in our 4wd vehicle. The location was great for us. It might be a bit far out for the average sightseer. Rocky Mountain National Park is about 30 miles north and Mt Evans and Blackhawk casino area is about 30 or 40 miles south and east. Winter Park... More

My husband and I were on our honeymoon the first week of October. As we drove through Fraser we stopped at the "Visitor's Center". When we asked about lodging, Mary suggested the "RMC". WE were so glad she did. We stayed an additional night because we enjoyed it so much. It is a very clean & comfortable place with all... More

We were an Aussie couple driving around Colorado in October 2010. We came across this hostel / inn at the end of a long driving day. The room was huge and warm, the bed was big and comfortable, and the linen and doona luxurious. The breakfast we cooked ourselves was great - there was a good range available (for inn... More

We stayed two nights at Rocky Mountain Chalet and would definitely recommend it. The B&B itself is clean and homey. The downstairs is the b&b portion with several private rooms and a small living room/breakfast area. The upstairs is the hostel portion with a nice big kitchen, family room, and several rooms individual bathrooms/showers. If you stay downstair in the... More

I had to stay one night in Fraser before my friends picked me up the next morning. I came by train from NH and was able to walk to this place from the train station with my 2 pieces of luggage. I had found this place on the Internet before I left home, having carefully read the reviews. I was... More
