Just spent the most enjoyable day ever on a ski-field. The staff at Loveland were wonderful especially the Rental shop Manager Scott. Great runs for learner to intermediate with less than 1 minute waits on all lifts. Denver's best kept secret. Less than 1 hour on the Interstate 70 west and then 1/2 mile road to carpark 1 minute walk... More

We have stopped at Loveland the past few years as the 'first day' of our Ski Trip into the mountains. Great 'warm up' hill. Great prices, family friendly, varied terrain. Old School vibe is a definite with very reasonable food and drink prices. (they get you at the pro shop). I love stopping at Loveland, this trip we went RIGHT... More

I have skied 120+ days in Colorado in the past three years; about three at Loveland. Here are the good / bad points: Good 1 - Its closer to Denver than just about any option. It's a solid 30 minutes (no traffic) to 60 minutes (weekend traffic) faster, each way. 2 - Its lower cost than most of its competitors.... More

First time ever skiing in Colorado, and I couldn't be happier that I picked Loveland. Everyone I came into contact with were very friendly, and helpful. Very laid back atmosphere. Went on a Wednesday in mid-February, and the slopes were pretty empty, which was awesome! Next opportunity I get to go back to Denver area, will definitely go back to... More

Had a week of skiing the week before Christmas at Loveland. The ski school was pretty quiet and our kids had personal lessons for most days! Even when it got busy nearing Christmas, the main lifts were not too busy, school was packed though, but I think its still not as crowded as others. Pricing was great compared to nearby... More

This place is not too crazy busy, priced right, and has plenty of things for all levels of abilitiy. It snowed on us all day and was absolutely perfect. Not all the areas were open but that's because it was still fairly early in the season and there hadn't been much snow but it was more than enough to kick... More

This is a really nice mountain close to Denver. If I were traveling with a family and didn't have an obscene amount of money to spend, I'd bring them here. Also, you can get a four pack (have to buy in advance) for $130! I'd definitely ski here if this were covered on my colorado ski pass...would love to swap... More

Recently made our first trip out to Loveland Ski Area for some spring skiing. Even though the season has been weak there were some decent trails. If your looking for a day trip for skiing then Loveland is your best bet. Within an hour from Denver you can be skiing. We've been to Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone and granted Loveland... While this was the worst season for snow, I still had a great time. Spring skiing was tough as the snow got really heavy towards lunch and all afternoon. I'd never been drenched in sweat while skiing! All lifts were running and I never waited to get on a lift. Some good runs listed at 2 miles and I know... More

Skied Loveland for the first time over Presidents weekend to avoid the crowds. The place has massive amounts of terrain, beautiful scenery, and a friendly atmosphere. The place is hidden right under the noses of people headed to the 'name' resorts on the other side of the decide. And with a 4 pack the lift tickets were $30!
