After searching for a place to spend our 25th wedding anniversary, we found Spirit Mountain Ranch, outside of Grand Lake, and it was perfect! The location is absolutely beautiful - total peace and quiet in an incredible setting, complete with llamas and an alpaca in the "barn", and hummingbirds in the hundreds around our private deck. Beth and Sandy were... More

Had an amazing two nights with Beth, Sandy, Noc and McKenna in this mountain retreat. Although slightly perturbed at the five mile gravel road with our Harley's soon overcame our worries when greeted so warmly. Beth and Sandy share their gorgeous home not only with their guests, also hummingbirds. A photographers dream. This is a place to be still, whilst... More

As other reviewers have said, this is a secluded and quiet place that is a good location to get away from it all. It's about a 15-minute drive to the town of Grand Lake and another 10 minutes to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. I'm a little torn about how to rate this place in number of stars because... More

Almost four miles off the highway, Spirit Mtn. Ranch offers a restful experience in a beautiful log house built by the owners. The house provides everything a guest could need: delicious breakfasts, large rooms with comfortable beds, books, a huge great room with a large fireplace and antiques, soft towels, DVDs, the great outdoors...everything! Llamas and alpacas occupy one of... More

It was 20 years since I was in Colorado so I could not have found a more welcoming or comfortable setting for my return. A group of friends decided to meet for a long weekend of talking, exploring and hiking so Spirit Mountain Ranch became our home for these 3 days. It was perfect since being there provided an immersion... More

If you are looking for a gorgeous mountain getaway where you can be quiet and not be bothered by the hustle and bustle of other Colorado mountain towns -- than this is the place! Extremely soothing, secluded and quiet, the owners have created a place that is perfect for recharging, reading and (if you're so inclined) hanging out with any... More

Even my workaholic boyfriend was able to relax at Spirit Mountain Ranch. (Although he still made use of the wi-fi to stay in touch with the office.) A working ranch with llamas and alpacas, flower and vegetable gardens, greenhouse, barn and soon-to-be completed woodburning pizza oven. We were greeted by McKenna, the black lab and Noc, the world's friendliest cat.... More

We are thrilled to hear that the original owners are back!! Our group of friends have stayed there several times (in different seasons) and have had a wonderful experience on each occasion. The setting is superb, the accomodations are beautiful, and the innkeepers are friendly and knowledgeable. We have had some great breakfast conversations ranging from the cosmos to the... More

We have stayed at Spirit Mountain B&B many times over the years that Sandy and Beth owned and operated this beautiful retreat. We are so very happy that they have returned "home" to continue sharing this beautiful mountain place in Colorado. It is a very easy 2 hr. drive from the Denver area. The area has the beautiy of 3... I stayed with my fiance for only one night at the Spirit Mountain Ranch and it was not long enough! Its located in a beautiful lake community (Lake Granby, Grand Lake) near the base of Rocky Mountain National Park (the opposite of Estes Park side). The ranch is a 4 bedroom Inn with lovely innkeepers off a dirt road. We... More
