The entire staff was really friendly including Rocky the owners dog. The place was really clean, neat, and comfy. Close to town but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Affordable and a good value.

We met friends and family in January at Black Bear Lodge. This is a charming place, just outside Grand Lake Colorado. You have a great view of the mountains and the lake! We came to ski at Winter Park and its a beautiful 45 minute drive. We found the lodge to be clean and the owners are great.
