We were very disappointed with the accomodations. Based on the description on their website, we thought that we would be getting an individual cabin. The "cabins" are actually sets of connected rooms. The soundproofing is not very good so we could hear almost everything going on in the room next to us. Fortunately we were in an end room so... We spent a couple of nights here over Thanksgiving weekend. The rooms are small, but cute, with the look of a little log cabin. They allow dogs, with only a one-time $25 fee for the length of your stay. The room we stayed in had double doors out into a little deck and picnic table within a very small fenced... More

Thank you so much for reviewing Mountain Lakes Lodge! We always appreciate feedback; It helps us be our best. In the 2 years we've been managing, we have worked very hard to make improvements to both this location and to North Shore Resort. We will never run out of things to do! We have a new light ready to install... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is adorable and cozy, set back from the main road, beautiful view from the back window of the lake and mountains in the distance. Everything we needed was included. The bed was comfy, blankets warm, room temp pefect! We met only one of the owners, and she was friendly, outgoing and very accommodating.... More

A very unique place. We stayed in the cabins off of route 34. The street is the main street out of the national park, but the cabins are situated back far enough so road noise is not a problem. There is a canal outside of the cabins, not much to look at but fun for kids to play around, and... More

My family of four spent the Memorial Day weekend in a fun and cozy unit #7 called "The Country Club" with a wonderful ambiance: warm, log interior with vaulted ceilings! We had everything we could need: from a beautiful, queen size bed within the living center where there was a cute, pine table with double seating (for two each) on... More

We were looking for a peaceful retreat in a simple cabin to hide from the world for a weekend. There are two properties a mile apart: Mountain Lake, facing the canal/river with mountain backdrop, and North Shore property right on Lake Granby (literally right on the lake shore). We loved staying in the Gone Fishin cabin for long snowy February... More

Thank you for your lovely review! We take extra steps such as hand-wiping the floors to assure that our units are "hotel clean" even though they're pet-friendly. We're happy to hear that it works! More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Bear Collector Cabin. It was cozy and warm with a spectacular view of the winding river and valley. The sunsets in the morning were incredible and the stars at night were amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even provided us with shampoo and a hairdryer that we forgot to... More

I was a bit put off by the negative reviews from a couple of summers ago but the lodge now has new owners and WOW! They have done an amazing job! The couple that run this, Doug and Edy were super helpful, answering all my questions and ensuring that my stay there was as relaxing and idyllic as I wanted.... More
