Charming, cozy, great people. Just up the road from hot springs, much more reasonable to stay and soak. Plus all the other great access to outdoor fun of all kinds. Must stop and say hi. Rob and Jeanie are wonderful.

This was a great place to stay! Close to the hot springs, very reasonable rates, clean rooms, and the friendliest staff we've encountered in a long time. We loved the room we had with a kitchenette - it came in handy because there are not many places to eat in Hot Sulphur Springs int he winter. We would absolutely stay... More

From the moment we called and spoke with Jeanie on the phone, it was obvious that we called the right place. Although we had to drive a bit from Winter Park...it was well worth it! Not only was she courteous, but very knowledgeable and helpful! The rooms were very clean and just the right size. Traveling becomes very easy when... More

My boyfriend and I wanted to take a trip to the Hot Sulphur Springs by Granby. This place had GREAT rates and the pictures looked newer and cleaner than other places in the area. They had heated up the room for us and while we arrived late at night, the room was warm and inviting. A couple of things: There... More

The owners and manager of this place are fantastic. While I was there they were completely renovating room 12 because they got one bad review on here. It is not easy to keep an older motel in top notch shape but these folks do a fantastic job. There are very few hotels who would take online reviews as serious as these... More

I would not recommend this hotel. When we peeled back the bed covers, there were dead flies. The blanket had a questionable stain that hadn't been washed. The vinyl bathroom floor hides wood rot underneath (floor gives where it's soft). Ceramic coffee cups had lip marks. When we were ready to check out, we uncovered a dirty black sock left... More

We hope our excellent reviews on this and other travel sites show that this was an isolated complaint. This room was marked for renovations and should have not been booked. We strive for clean, quality, comfortable rooms and remain AAA Approved. There has also been new management since the date of this guest's stay. More

The best place to stay in Hot Sulphur Springs. I've stayed here several times -- the motel has tremendous character and is pet-friendly. It's cheaper and more welcoming than the resort where the hot springs are, and has discount day tickets for the hot springs. What makes the place great is the manager, Angus, who takes great pride in it.

The only reason you might ever want to stay in Hot Sulfur Springs, CO is because you have been turned into a limp noodle by soaking in the hot springs in town. With that in mind, staying at the Canyon Motel is perfect as it is close to the springs, allows dogs, and is reasonably priced. The town is right... More

I had to go to Grand County for business and was a little concerned about what kind of accommodations I might find up there, particularly during hunting season. No need to worry. The motel was clean, comfortable and quiet. I booked the renovated king with the jetted tub so I can't speak about the rooms that are not renovated yet,... More
