On our road trip from Phoenix to Denver last month we found a warm welcome from Bob and Sue after a long day's travel. The region is relatively remote, but the lodge is well situated and very comfortable with a big lounge. The hospitality was great, with all the snacks and great breakfast making it a home from home. All we can say is that Bob and Sue are wonderful hosts. They are warm and so hospitable. Sue's breakfasts are hearty and loaded with fresh fruit. Bob keeps your coffee cup full. We have an 8 month old and they went out of their way to provide a booster seat, sippy cup and munchies for the little guy. Mesa... More

We stayed here while spending time visiting the region's cultural parks and other natural wonders of southwestern Colorado. It was great, fabulous setting near some of the region's most cherished places--Mesa Verde, Canyons of the Ancients, and more. We stayed in the guest house, which was perfect for our family (grandparents, kid, dog, and us two). Very nice to have... More

We very much enjoyed our stay with Bob and Sue in their lovely and comfortable lodge. They were so helpful suggesting the Millbrook Junction for dinner and routes for our next destination. They provided snacks and drinks to welcome us and great homemade buttermilk, corn waffles, fruit, bacon, coffe and juice for breakfast. Our room was private and included all the amenities... More

First of all, the main lodge is beautiful, and I'm sure the guest cabins are just as nice. We stayed in the main lodge for 4 days, and just loved the place and the B&B owner/operators. Bob and Sue are so nice, helpful with suggestions about attractions around Mancos and Durango, and Sue makes the best breakfast! The lodge is... More

This was a dream! The location and the buidling itself were perfect for our needs and the hosts cannot be faulted or bettered I doubt. Interesting and interested people who really put body and soul into making us feel welcome. Even the pets were friendly!

Sundance bear was a great place to unwind far from the sounds of the city. I loved the stunning location overlooking Mesa Verde and the La Plata Mountains. The property was large and I enjoyed walking around and exploring. Sue and Bob were friendly, had good local tips and obviously loved sharing their homes.

You never quite know what to expect, but this B&B delighted the 3 of us...fabulous location, terrific host and hostess, so relaxed and comfortable, and what special breakfasts! The cats and dogs made us feel right at home; that Morris especially. We'd all love to have an excuse to visit again and maybe we just will. Sandy, Ann, and Shelley

Bob & Sue are great! their hospitality was wonderful, we felt the hosts for a few days and their instructions were invaluable!. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. The room is small but cozy. The lodge has many amenities and is located in a small corner of paradise: the quiet is assured! Mancos is close to you and there you can find... More

We stayed with Sue and Scott for 2 nights in de cabin. The first day we arrived at 3pm, went into the (beautifull) cabin, got rid of our luggage, took a chair on the porch, took our laptop and stayed there untill sunset, did not even eat.........it gave us such a peacefull and serene feeling.
