we stayed in the John Wayne room. It was very roomy, log bed-- comfy and clean. Continental breakfast was great-- huge fresh muffins and donuts, wide variety of bagels and juices. Very homey place overall and quite charming. Loved it!

We used Country Lodge as our headquarters for eight days from Sept 9-17th and we could not have been more pleased. Inexpensive...clean room...friendly owner...adequate continential breakfast...we were pleasantly surprised. If you want unique, not fancy, and a quiet place to park, I would recommend Country Lodge.

This non-chain motel was an incredibly good value, clean, roomy, well-located, with coffee in the room and very friendly owners.
