I liked this hotel so much and think it's a hidden gem in the Rockies. The rooms are very nice and linens were clearly new. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were too soft for me. I wish they had harder pillows. When I asked the clerk they brought me extra stiffer pillows. The service was prompt and... More

I really liked this hotel. The night clerk on a Friday night was very nice. The room had a flatscreen. Also, the free breakfast was great. This is a very nice small little town in the heart of the mountains off of I70. I would rather stay at this property and save some money instead of the higher priced options... More

DO NOT STAY HERE! We had an infestation of ants in our room. The staff is not friendly at all. The provide a breakfast of expired yogurt and touched most of the food with dirty cleaning gloves on. There was food in the refrigerator in the room that we are in that was expired for days and must have been... More

Well....my wife and two children spent last night here. I would say that, in fairness, I had a few more problems with the guests than the hotel. (but I will get to that) We brought our small dog (10lbs) and was given a pet room. We were charged $10. (I thought that was on the low end so I was... More

I had two kids fall outside the pool area because they had no mats. When I suggested they put water absorbing mats outside, the front desk girl cried and the food were called claiming me suggesting they put mats outside the pool was harrassment. The very young night manager is the daughter of the owner or manager. Making her cry... More

This hotel is nothing fancy, but is kept very clean. We stayed for about five days while visiting family in the area. The room has a microwave, coffee maker and fridge which was great to have on an extended stay. The queen bed rooms are on the side facing away from the train tracks. The trains never bothered me at... More

We stay here whenever we visit our daughter in New Castle.... always have a clean and comfortable room and are treated well by the friendly owners. There is a fine continental breakfast in the morning. Sometimes rooms are scarce in Glenwood nearby, and rooms are more expensive there....if I were visiting Glenwood, I would drive a few miles and stay... More

Great value, nice big rooms, fridge, microwave, free internet. Great view of the mountains and a great view of the UP railroad tracks.

I spent the night here and I was quite pleased with the facility. I was a bit taken by the various TripAdvisor reviews which either loved it or hated it. The only somewhat negative experience I had was being greeted by only lots of used towels in the pool area since there was a large family who left with there... More

We stayed here with our dog and small children. We checked in at night, lights didn't work. No towels, Quoted wrong, AAA discount was not honored. Breakfast was provided but cold food was warm and conditions were unsanitary. Manager argued with us upon checkout that AAA was quoted in price but won't be honored and then just walked away from...
