We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at San Isabel. Dick and Cam; and their two dogs Cleo and Lucy, were very friendly and welcoming. Their home is set in a beautiful location with amazing views. Their house is very clean and comfortable. They provided us with fantastic homemade breakfasts in the mornings and yummy cookies and banana bread in... More

We had the most marvelous time. The room is small, the bed comfortable and the hosts super friendly! This is a the perfect place for a get away trip. We used it for our lodging while on a biking trip. SO much better than a nondescript chain. The Food was wonderful!

I loved the place. It is not in the main highway and that is very appreciated. Amazing views, very tranquil and the house is gorgeous. Dick and Cam are lovely, the owners, and very nice to chat with. Cam makes beautiful sweet cookies and the rooms are great, clean, comfy and with great views. They even have a hot tub... More

My partner and I stayed at the San Isabel B&B one night after a long drive up from Santa Fe to pick up our new rv in Poncha Springs the next day. Our stay was an offer provided to us by our rv dealer in Poncha Springs, the owner's son, who took pity on us because of our hectic travel... More

My fiancé and I had a great weekend at the San Isabel Bed and Breakfast in mid-April. That in itself is cozy and comfortable, the breakfast each morning was delicious and filling, and the mountain views are incredible. Cam and Dick were so nice and helpful, and we also had a great time playing with their dogs Lucy and Cleo.... More

Apparently me picking a B&B was considerably more than the girlfriend was expecting, we had to drive 2 cars due to conflicting schedules out of Salida and after I lead into the parking lot and we both got out of our cars she was just elated with the views of the mountains and the look of "San Isabel B&B". We... More

We enjoyed our stay at this B&B immensely. Great location, fantastic views and even better food. Dick and Cam were warm, friendly and helpful hosts. The excellent mattress and pillows provided a great night's rest. We were the only guests in the pet friendly quarters so we had the bathroom all to ourselves. Our English springer and their two labs... More

We have been to a few B&B's over the years and "Great" is the best word to describe the San Isabel. Probably the hospitality of Cam and Dick was the most valuable feature of the stay. The weather turned out to be fabulous for the 4th week in January and we enjoyed the quiet and lack of tourists. Cleo and... More

Wake up to views of 3 peaks over 14000 feet after a snug night, get up for a great breakfast, have worthwhile conversations with the kind and thoughful hosts. Get good advice on what to do and visit in the area. Beetle off to the funky little town of Salida, CO just down the road. Hmm. What's not to like?!... More
