For Silverton, you can't do better than staying at the Smedley Suites. We stayed in #3 which had two bedrooms, a large kitchen with everything you need to make great meals, a big living room with DirecTV, and a nice bathroom. They provide you with two fans to pull air through the condo and cool it off at night in the summer. The owners, Paul and Sharon Zimmerman, are consumate hosts who provided us with all kinds of information and much good cheer. There is a great ice cream parlor (with fancy choclates to the side and gifts) underneath the condos. The Pickle Barrel Restaurant is next door. Sharon is an excellent chef. She prepares healthy fresh food that is delicious so if you don't feel like using your kitchen for lunch or dinner, you can just go next door. Everything else in town is close by.
I highly recommend staying in this property. They have done a great job decorating and fixing up the condos. You will not want for anything and if you do, just go next...
