It was such a treat to stay at the Wingate House/Animas B&B. It felt like being in a home rather than a stuffy hotel. Very comfortable, beautiful, elegant. And breakfast was gourmet! What a nice way to get a feel for Silverton!

While in Silverton for a conference, we enjoyed a lovely stay at the Wingate B&B. The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. We enjoyed visiting with our hostess, Judy, and her delicious, home-made breakfasts were a treat!

Judy Graham is the best hostess, making us comfortable in our rooms with soft down comforters, luxurious bathroom, the best breakfast we ever had. Judy offers good tips on local hiking as she is a hiker herself, also a good artist.

Judy runs a most beautiful, comfortable B&B. We greatly enjoyed our stay there. She prepared us a wonderful breakfast and we had lots of fun talking with her about her adventures living in Silverton, Colorado. She is a painter and had some of her work displayed about the home, as well as very interesting historical photos. Highly recommended.

after reading the last review, it appeared maybe the previous problems had been corrected. It has not. The dogs are back and having two very large dogs running the house with doors closed with a sign do not open is not what I expected in a bed and breakfast. This is a very nicely restored Victorian style B&B with the best views in Silverton. One bath has a Jacuzzi tub (not very authentic) but the rest of the house is a real gem with period wall-paper, trim and furniture.
