A friend and I stayed there for a week and it was the perfect place to stay. Cozy, clean and extremely well kept and maintained. Delicious home made pastries by Constance and Steve in the morning, along with other breakfast basics. Beautiful view of Twin Lakes, short drive to Aspen, Leadville and Buena Vista.

This B&B had a lovely wrap around porch which was nice to sit out on. Our room (#4) was very clean, well-appointed, but small!! The "misleading" comment refers to e-mail correspondence with them. I was told "we have a beautiful private entrance ,bath room with greta views..." and "Ive reserved our historic room..." 1. If he meant private entrance to... More

This guest changed her reservation arrival date at the last minute and we were not able to give her the room she had originally reserved. This was 4th of July week-end and we worked hard to accomodate her which was in our cozy Historic room which is smaller than her originally reserved room but preferred by guests who are early... WeA friend and I had booked a room in the lodge. When we got there Steve upgraded us to the cabin. It was awesome, with i bed and a futon, kitchen, bathroom. Great view of the lake, mountains. Very quiet. Breakfast was great and the roadhouse cinnamon rolls were great. I cant say enough good things about our stay.

Five star comfort in the one of the most beautiful places in the world. Our room had a lake and mountain view. Steve, the owner gave us a tour. We were impressed by the hand crafted tiled bathrooms in each of the uniquely designed rooms. Be sure and try the Roadhouse cinnaminon rolls:) Unbelievable!!

are kids & granddaughters were staying in a campground up the road, so this was perfect for us to stay here & visit them during the day. Constance is a great lady & makes cinnamon rolls each morning that are excellent. We stayed in her cottage about a block away. It is an old house built in the late 1800s.... More

We (my husband, one-year-old and me) loved our two-night stay at the charming and private Carriage House, which felt like an updated Little House on the Prairie abode. The owners do a great job of providing the same kind of amenities you expect from a city hotel: free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, up-to-date kitchen and bathroom, comfy bed and modern linens.... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this bed and braekfast. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The first morning our rental car had a flat tire. The hostess, Constance, made the necessary phone calls for us, while we anjoyed our delicious homemade breakfast. On request Constance prepares a very good dinner at a reasonable price and she has surprisingly... More

We found the Roadhouse Lodge online as we were looking for a B&B just south of Leadville to stay in while we did a couple days of hiking. The outside of the Roadhouse Lodge doesn't begin to do justice to what's on the inside. We had a fabulous room; queen bed with a great mattress; a small table and chairs... More

A friend recommended that we make a trip to Twin Lakes, Colorado and stay at the Roadhouse Lodge, run by Constance and Steven. We couldn't beleive that we could get a private cabin for under $150.00/night. When we first moved to Colorado, there were very few places that allowed children and most of them started at $185-$225/night. You feel like... More

We will return for another stay in the future and will highly recommend the Roadhouse Lodge to family and friends. Constance was an excellent hostess and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and decorated beautifully. Sitting on the porch in the early evening and again for breakfast was very relaxing and had a beautiful view of the... More
