Owners of the Black Cat made us feel welcome and comfortable. The view from the porch is amazing and worth the trip alone. Breakfast was wonderful. We will be back!!!

My husband & I spent four fantastic nights at this B&B. We originally booked three nights and then after one night, extended our stay for an extra night. View is one in a million, host and hostess were warm, informative and fun to be around and provided a top notch breakfast each morning. They obviously enjoy what they do and... More

We stayed at the Black Cat B & B over the Boom Days weekend. Ric and his lovely wife were so welcoming, and very accomodating! The pineapple upside down french toast was amazing. The view from the guest rooms are beyond beautiful. We will definately stay at this great b&b again!

We stayed here about four years ago and loved it, I was almost afraid to go back. I am so glad we returned, it is still just as wonderful. The setting is amazing, the views from the porch of Mt. Elbert and Twin Lakes are breathtaking. The room is cute, clean and has all the amenities one needs. The breakfast... More

I stayed at the Black Cat Bed and Breakfast for two nights in july 2011. It was one of the highlights of my USA trip. The room was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and provided not only delicious breakfasts, but interesting conversation and advice... More

We stayed at here over night to attend the Leadville Boom Days and everything else was full. We were so happy. The Black Cat is easy to find, but off the beaten path. About 10 minutes from Leadville. The view is spectacular! The room was very nice and clean. Queen bed, flat screen TV with satellite, refrigerator. We sat on... More

We stayed 4 nights in this paradise overlooking Twin Lakes at the highest mountains in Colorado. Black Cat has only two identical rooms and is only 5 years old so is very up to date. Ric provides super breakfasts and plenty of local info.

Spent several days hiking in the nearby mountains and it was a comfort returning to this homey B&B in the evening. Spotless, cheerfully decorated rooms; Mt. Elbert just outside the door; Leadville and Buena Vista a few miles down the road if the serenity gets to you. It worked for me.

One of our top 3 vacations ever! So much to do in a beautiful place in Colorado. Staying at The Black Cat B&B gave us an awesome view of Twin Lakes and the surrounding 14,000 + ft. mountains. Very friendly and knowledgeable innkeepers. The gourmet breakfasts and coffee were incredible. Very new, up-to-date, roomy, w/ mini fridge and private outside... More

We visit Colorado almost every year at some point and time. This has to have been the most memorable experience we have had. The view is breath taking, only secondary to the hospitality you receive from the owners. Ric was kind enough to make a special breakfast for us and his cooking lives up to the highest of expectations with... More
