Nice hotel with a great view of the area. The staff was very nice and easy to deal with. The room had a nice decor and parking was excellent. The hotel is near the downtown main areas of the town and also many of the main items in town are within walking distance.

Excellent place to stay. I highly recommend it. Good bar and patio. Very good view of the and mountains. They are pet friendly. We were there in summer . Don't know what it would be like in the winter. I went to high school there. But have not lived there since.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I would have given it a one out of 5 if not for the beautiful area it was located in. Couldn’t get any sleep because the bed was hard as a rock. The pillows were like sleeping on rock. The tv didn’t work and the clerk at the desk kept promising to come down to assist, but never made it. I finally did some of my own problem solving and discovered that the hdmi cord was faulty. After numerous trips to the front desk I was able to get a new cord. Then the shower didn’t work. Night clerk was of no use. He was nice enough, but very passive aggressive. Told the day clerk and she said it had been done, but we couldn’t confirm it. I will not stay at this hotel again. It was a nightmare.

Kylie made Our four day stay an absolute pleasure the entire time. She and Robert went out of their way to serve our Family and several Friends who were in town for a Wedding. I have Zero Complaints. I would suggest to add Eggs, Meat or some type of Protein to the Breakfast that is offered. Fruit and Several sweet items are offered but short on items that would contain Protein. Still I would give this Lodge a #12....

5 STAR PATIO I need to split this review into two sections. One for the patio bar and another for the motel itself. I am going to start with the patio bar. The view is expansive. Deer (including the babies) are not shy and graze within a few feet. There is a lovely fire pit to sit around on chilly evenings to keep warm. The service is friendly and efficient. We ordered the pizza which was quite good even though we were told it was baked from frozen. The wine is acceptable and is reasonable in price. You cannot bring your own alcohol onto the patio per Colorado state law. Now for the motel. I give one star beginning with check in. The front desk receptionist never smiled. She handed me the key without any instructions on WIFI or breakfast options, etc. The hallway to our room was musty and smelled of cigarettes. The room smelled even worse. When we got to our room we found wet towels in the bathroom. I went back to the front desk and they handed me more towels without any comment. Then I found that there was not toilet paper and had to go back to the front desk. Oh I nearly forgot to mention…upon check in I asked if we needed to wear masks inside the hotel. The girl at the front desk actually “sneered” and stated “ No, we are not afraid of COVID here”. My recommendation is to stay at the Wyndom Microtel next door and visit the patio at the Country Inn.

To stay with the group we were there to support, against initial impression, we stayed at this lodge anyway. As we walked in the door (note we like watching Hotel Impossible) our first thought was how Anthony would not like this place at all. The individual at reception had to step away while we waited to empty trash from rooms/public area (she is the reception, room cleaning POC, and breakfast support all in one). Due to all these tasks and given the lodge was at 100% occupancy, reception was pleasant but not very supportive. We watched other customers receive the same encounter we had. Room was mostly clean but very outdated and dusty. Bathroom was basic but at least minimally clean. Towels were completely worn out to the point they did not dry you off after a shower… good thing for air dry! The AC was completely blocked by a dust filled filter, as proven by the fact my wife would sneeze every time it came on. Input from another guest from our party indicated a brief that if you used the pool, no additional towels would be given, not that they worked anyway. The “breakfast” was all processed packaged items, except for the watered down waffle mix and a very few pieces if fruit. The bed was clean, but old/lumpy… we did at least get a few hours sleep. I suggest the $170 a night is paid by guests based on location, not value. Overall, I would not recommend this location unless of course you are stuck and the other (very few) options are taken.

The hotel was fine. Room was simple and clean. The desk staff was very good, and the pool / hot tub area was well liked by the kids. The breakfast was simple but adequate and the person that was hosting the breakfast was doing a great job...cleaning, keeping the coffee pots hot and full, helping with the waffle maker...she was doing a great job. The few negatives that made me rank it a 4 as opposed to 5 were that although the rooms were adequate...for the price, they weren't great...the beds weren't the best (but they were alright). The thing that really chapped me were the bar prices...I got two beers for my wife and I and the bill was 13 and change, then I got two mixed drinks (rum and Coke) and they were $9 + tax each for a glass of ice, a sprinkle of rum, and a shot of Coke. My bill for 4 drinks was close to $33 and when I left a $3-4 tip for "go to the bar and get it yourself service" for 4 drinks...my average was $9 per drink. I get that they need to make money, but $9 / drink is more than I expect to pay at the airport or the ballpark...absurd. Country lodge 9 mixed + tax so 21 with tip Draft and can was 13 and change Total 36

Room Tip: Go to the grocery store and buy a six-pack. The hotel is fine, but the bar is an extortion scheme.

Super nice people. The bedding and beds are old, really old. The pool people REALLY need to clean the tile, dirt and floaty stuff surfaces in the hot tub... doesnt feel clean at all. The pool bathroom especially needs to be kept in better shape

Our first night was okay. Not the cleanest BUT the next day we received absolutely NO room cleaning service whatsoever and we were out of towels! No beds made, no fresh towels, no dirty towels picked up, NOTHING. We complained to the front desk and were told there was only 1 housekeeper and they didn't know if she would get to it or not but the certainly DID NOT offer to give us any clean towels or any kind of compensation at all. The next day they left clean towels and "straightened" the beds but they certainly weren't made and there was no vacuuming or cleaning in the bathroom. HORRIBLE housekeeping! We didn't even get anymore shampoo or soap!
