We went for mr husbands brother's wedding. It was comfortable, done very well and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Without a doubt we would stay again. The hotel and ground are absolutely lovely. The staff helpful and friendly. I highly reccomdend. If your looking for a place to have wedding and reception and then have your guest stay overnight. This is... More

We had my daughter's wedding here. It was wonderful and the feedback from the guests who stayed over (for two nights) was excellent. Hazel (our contact at the Dolce) could not have been a better or more experienced wedding planner. She thought of everything - she was sensitive to our budget, our fiddling and our customization of the experience. We... More

Stayed here for 2 weeks at a live in conference back in October. The setting is absolutely gorgeous in back woods Norwalk. Very close to the border of New Canaan, which is home to some of the most wealthy people, and expensive homes in the Northeast USA. The accomodations were basic, but very clean. I would compare it to that... More

I recently stayed at Dolce Norwalk as part of a large group holding a conference there. The setting was bucolic, the rooms were luxurious and the staff was attentive. However, the accounting team was an absolute nightmare, rendering all of the above mentioned "pluses" moot! Upon check out, I was charged an amount that did not align with the originally... More

We live in Mass., and my daughter, who doesn't have a license yet, had been invited to a function at Dolce. A block of rooms had been reserved for guests, so I drove her down and reserved a room for us to stay the night. As she had been invited to the function, but I had not, I didn't have... More

Stayed at this hotel for a week long training course. Thoroughly enjoyed the facility: it as a large pool, gym and basketball court, spacious, quiet grounds with a 1 mile running/walking circuit. The breakout rooms and conference rooms are good: functional, not luxurious, but just want you need. Food was great, bar was relaxed and fun. This is a large... More

We stayed at Dolce this past weekend and it was a lovely stay. We were in town for a friend's wedding. The grounds are beautiful so pack your sneakers and go for a run or a nice walk. The hotel has a 3 mile loop & a 1 mile loop mapped out for you if you're interested. They also have... More

Very clean and accomodating hotel. However, not too many amenities that you may expect at many high end hotels. While the service was awesome, the food was great, the prices were steep. From a look-feel perspective, the best word that comes to mind is bland. I cannot comment on the outside too much as I was inside the entire trip.

Was there as part of a meeting. Out of the way in the middle of a residential area. Old monastery I was told. This place is primarily a conference center which has rooms. Staff were nice. Rooms were clean and well serviced. Great view of a golf course. However, there is nothing around it except for a beautiful garden/park ie... More

I needed a place to stay on short notice. I found Dolce Norwalk on Expedia.com and it offered a room for $99. I booked it, got my confirmation #, and headed for the hotel. I was impressed with the landscaping when I arrived, but there were no obvious indications as to where the lobby was. I ended up driving around... More
