My husband and I took our toddler there one night while we were in town on business, out of desperation because the comfort inn across the street had overbooked and wouldn't honor our reservation, and my husband was running late for the meeting we were in town for, so we had to find something quickly and decided to take a... I have stayed in this hotel in years past and while not great, it was OK. That is no longer true. My room was dirty, the mattress was dirty, the bathroom had paint peeling off the wall. The room smelled badly (smoke?). There was no screen on the window. Refrig was unplugged and had leaked on the rug. I had... More

Voted by my family members as the worst hotel stay during this entire trip. Even though the manager has done her best to correct a reservation / system error, we cannot say we enjoy the stay. The smell of smoke is everywhere, and the floor / carpet look and fell dirty. The air conditioning unit is noisy but does not... More

Good location and nice staff but shabby rooms. Came back on the second day of our stay and found that housekeeping had left our door ajar. When we returned to the area we stayed at the much nicer nearby Comfort Suites.

No batteries in the smoke detector, missing lightbulbs, stained lamp-shades and walls... This hotel is very poorly maintained.

We stayed at the Econo Lodge because we were attending a wedding nearby. The location to the reception was wonderful. Unfortunately that is about the only good thing I can add for this hotel. Having stayed at many hotels both good and bad, I must add that you usually get what you pay for. In this case the hotel is... More

the econolodge isn't as bad as it was as a daysinn about 2 years ago, but it still needs tons of improvement. The bathrooms smell like old midew, and during a week stay, housekeeping never came in to vacuum or make up beds. The doors stick, and the service could be better, however this motel is better than many others in the area, such as... More

For one of our party, we needed handicapped-accessible lodging. Well, this was NOT the place to stay! We were too late to book more wisely for the weekend of Yale's graduation, so there was no where else we could have gone. To convert rooms for "handicap-access" the hotel had made a sloping entrance into its basement. This entrance was the... More
