This inn has the depressing air of an establishment about to close down, which would probably be the best thing for all of us. How the management can justify charging $375 per night for the suite my wife and I had I cannot imagine. The furniture was early motel, the bed had only a thin blanket despite the fact that... More

My standards are not too high, and I rarely feel the need to post a negative review. But my experience at The Elms was pretty disappointing, especially in light of what I was charged ($190 + tax). The location is good, right on the outskirts of Ridgefield, CT. But the room left much to be desired. Sure, the decor was... More

This Inn was advertised as being a premier establishment- as the price would indicate, but no sooner than entering the building were we disillusioned. Where to begin... The Room: Expect one smaller and in worse repair than a standard low budget motel. The television is positioned awkwardly across the room and about the size of a computer screen (about 13... More

My husband and I have travelled extensively in the Northeast for the past seven years, staying at many inns and bed and breakfasts. Last weekend we stayed at the Elms Inn in Ridgefield CT. We were very disappointed in the poor quality and condition of the inn. The lobby area and hallways have zero atmosphere. The carpet is pulled in... More
