My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night at the Old Riverton Inn. This was our first time back there in at least 20 years. The inn dates from 1796 and is beautifully and lovingly maintained. It is situated in the timeless village of Riverton on a branch of the Farmington River. It has changed very little over... More

My husband and I stayed for Christmas Eve and Christmas. This B&B was very warm and inviting. The owners were hospitable, from the making of the reservation to the time we left. We had dinner at the B&B's restaurant on Christmas Day. The food was delicious, and the restaurant service outstanding.

This B&B was a pleasant experience. Very old but well kept Inn is a trip back in time. The breakfast was great - terrific coffee and perfect french toast with fresh fruit and real maple syrup! The owners were kind, provided helpful tips for touring and meals. There are large common areas with comfortable furniture for relaxing with friends. We... More

We've driven by the Inn for many years, and often wondered what it would be like to stay there. On the occasion of my wife's birthday, this was our first overnight visit (2 nights). We had a spacious and charming room, with period furniture, substantial linens and towels, and a very comfortable king-size bed. The owners, Pauline and Mark, were... More

What a pleasant stay we experienced on New Years eve... it was just what we were hoping it would be... peaceful...( I know, not your usual desire for New Years Eve..).. however we wanted to relax, finally, after a busy holiday week and we most certainly did. The Old Riverton Inn is oh yes, old... filled with antiques, uneven floors,... More

I only stayed for one night but the friendly welcome from the owner is appreciated and by the looks of things the Restaurant looks worth a visit..sadly I couldnt avail myself of their food but it all sounded very appetizing ! My room was slightly rickety but charming and adequately furnished and equiped. For an Englishman who enjoys a good... More

Since the first time my girlfriend and I visited this wonderful inn, we loved it. The restaurant serves the tastiest meals, (I liked the duck a lot) and the rooms are comfortable and quaint. The innkeepers were friendly and accomodating, so much so, that we will be having our wedding there next fall.

My wife and I have been taking a yearly trip to the Old Riverton Inn for about the last 10 years. The Inn is over 200 years old, and is a very interesting place – we just love staying there. It’s a wonderful place to visit in the autumn, the foliage is amazing! We also like to go in the... More
