We used to live in Simsbury and this renovated Inn opened in 1985 to thunderous applause. Beautiful rooms and great restaurant. We moved away 7 years ago and returned for a party. I stayed at the Simsbury 1820 House for two nights in June and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The room was charming and clean, the staff was very helpful, and the price was very reasonable.
