As Days Inns go this one is fine, seems pretty new. We are on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. My wife and I take a small suitcase each , and a large one each, and just add and subtract every 2-3 days. We had planned on bringing in the large ones but decided to wait until tomorrow... More

We stayed in Torrington for several nights at the Days Inn. There are very few commercial hotel chains in the area, but the Days Inn was clean, reasonably priced and the family that manages it were very friendly and helpful.

This is a middle-of-the-road property, and it can be OK or not OK, depending on the room you are assigned, and the weather, of all things. This property would be acceptable for a short stay, but if I had to stay more than a week on a job I would want to be somewhere else. Not 100% sure but head the warning. Didn't see any but found my home infested shortly after and this is the only place had traveled in quite a while. Bugs or not - this hotel is dingy and dirty and would not recommend staying here eve if it was free.
