I visited the Captain Stannard House in between a couple of long business trips and it was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway. The inn was quiet, breakfast was excellent and the owners and staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I look forward to getting back there in the new year.

Jim and Mary (and their daughter) were friendly and provided great service. They were accomodating to schedule changes (early check in) and seemed to thoroughly enjoy interacting with guests. What a wonderful place! The rooms were spotlessly clean and each one unique.The full course breakfast was delicious and gave us a great start to our day. Mary and Jim were welcoming and helpful as a great source of information.
