Planned a short trip with my sister and found Atlantic View Hotel on line. The online description described the hotel perfectly. We were pleased with room and other amenities. Mom decided that she wanted to take my sister and I to the beach for a vacation. We came to Dewey Beach and the Atlantic View. That was 13 years ago. We have been back every year since. “Excellent Value”

This is a smaller, older place that is well kept and staffed by good folks. They charge a fair price for what they offer. It may lack in a few amenities, but it is ideally located. I really like the place and will come back.

“Hidden gem at Dewey”

Wow. A family oriented home away from home. Excellent customer service with a very considerate staff especially the housekeeping staff. Very accomodating. Excellent breakfast. A hop and a skip to the beach; the poolside was well kept. My family will be returning.

What you see on Atlantic View's website is exactly the way the hotel is. It's very clean, the staff is friendly, and a very convenient location. Just park your car and walk or ride the Jolly Trolley. Nice clean hotel. Great location right on the Atlantic, walk to restaurants and bus. Pool with nice deck area. Staff excellent. Only problem, though small, is they charge for ice and if you smoke basically you are not going to like it here you can't smoke on the outside balconies or anywhere within the hotel area. We stayed here the first weekend in May. This was our 44th Anniversary! It was chilly and windy, but the hotel was wonderful. It was one of the cleanest rooms we've encountered in DE.
