From the night auditor to the morning crew the front desk staff was bad, only the van driver was friendly and didnt act as was bother.

The Doubletree Downtown is well-run, with decent amenities and food. It does not have a fabulous view, but if you are a business traveler, or someone who needs a good night's rest in Wilmington, it fits the bill. in my experience there, I found the service is superior, and the staff very helpful and friendly.

This is a one night stay type hotel. Staff very sweet and helpful. Hotel needs refurbished the rooms need new carpet "very dirty" walk in your socks :) and pillows are soft like features even if you request firm. If this is the only hotel available I will stay again, but prefer looking for something more in the Hilton standards.
